Set it up, step by step

  1. 1Install Guardian from the Amazon Appstore and open it.
  2. 2Enter the 6-character code from "Add a device".
  3. 3Do each setup step once: "Let Guardian see which app is open", "Let Guardian show the block screen" and "Let Guardian filter websites" (tap OK on the VPN request).
  4. 4Share location: choose "Allow all the time". "Not now" skips it.

Good to know

Fire tablet

  • Guardian closes blocked apps when they open (Basic). Someone determined could get around it.
  • No Lock now. No calls or messages: most Fire tablets have no phone service.

Both apps are built. We're confirming them on real Amazon devices before we call them ready.
